The Football Transfer Desk operates as an independent aggregator. We do not invent quotes, we do not publish anonymous-only sources, and we credit and link to the originating outlet on every single rumour.

Sourcing

We only ingest from named reporters, established outlets or official club channels.
Every rumour links to the original report. Always check the source before acting.
Anonymous aggregator accounts are excluded from our ingest list.

Scope

We cover men's professional football transfers only. We do not cover women's football, youth-only rumours, or non-transfer news. The scope is enforced both in our ingest filters and in our scoring.

Ratings and reasoning

Every Deal Rating, Credibility score and Buzz score is generated by the methodology described in How we rate. We do not accept payment to inflate or suppress scores. We do not run native or paid placements within the feed.

Corrections

If a rumour is wrong, mis-attributed, or has been updated, contact us via the Contact page. We aim to update or remove inaccurate ratings within 24 hours and note material corrections on the rumour's timeline.

Independence

The Football Transfer Desk is independently operated and not owned by, affiliated with, or sponsored by any football club, federation, agent or media outlet. Any future commercial partnerships will be disclosed on this page.
